Dr. Shah attended the State University of New York College at Old Westbury, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She continued her education and earned her degree in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
She returned back to her NY roots and completed her rigorous three year residency at New York City Health and Hospitals at South Brooklyn Hospital, formerly known as Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Here, she comprehensively trained in reconstructive and elective foot and ankle surgery with additional emphasis in wound care and limb salvage. She was awarded Podiatric Resident of the month and then served as the Chief Resident during her final year. She completed several educational courses focusing on internal fixation, Baltimore Limb Deformity and External Fixation, and arthroscopic surgical techniques.

Dr. Shah is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and New York State Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Shah is a native New Yorker, born and raised on Long Island who enjoys serving her community. Dr. Shah enjoys music, hiking, cooking, and traveling. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Lucky. Dr. Shah also enjoys learning new languages, being multilingual herself, she speaks English, Gujarati, Hindi-Urdu, and Spanish to effectively communicate with her patients.
