Swearing-In Ceremony for Dr. DeLucia as Honorary Police Surgeon of the New York City Police Department by Commissioner William Bratton and Police Chief James O’Neil. This photo was taken one day prior to the retirement of the long career of Commissioner Bratton and the induction of Police Chief O’Neil to the post of the new police commissioner of the NYPD. Dr. De Lucia was given a great honor to be chosen by the medical division of the New York City Police Department to serve as an Honorary Police Surgeon in the care of police officers, officials and their families.
